Home Visits

At Blackthorn Primary School we actively promote and encourage families to have a home visit prior to their child starting at Nursery or Reception.

We believe that meeting parents and children at home helps children to form a trusting relationship with us, before entering our school community.

During home visits, parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the teacher and staff in a safe environment, where they feel confident and at ease.
